Estimated time: Collectively... about 9 or 10 solid days, maybe longer. (Although I did it over a period of, like, 2 or 3 months.)
So I got into a little Potter-nerd frenzy right before the last book came out. (And, hey. I've been reading and re-reading those books for over half my life! Sorry...) Sitting there, after reading "the Half Blood Prince" in preparation for the release of book seven, I suddenly found myself sketching Hermione Granger. Before I knew it, I'd drawn Harry and Ron. Suddenly, I had a strange thought. "I wonder if I could draw... EVERYONE..."
I started this picture before Deathly Hallows came out, which should give you an idea about how long I've been working on it. (I colored it in at my dad's house.)

F.A.Q:
Q: Lily Potter has red hair! It says so in the epilogue!
A: That's nice.
Q: Why is there more than one Voldemort? There are like, three!
A: There's actually only one Voldie- the fellow next to him, "Tom Riddle," is the handsome Muggle his mother Merope fell in love with, 'member? The "third" Tom, sitting in row 10, is the hunchbacked guy who works at the Leaky Cauldron.
Q: Where is ____?
A: Best tip for finding someone in this huge compilation? Try hitting "Ctrl F," and referring to the nifty 200+ character guide above. Chances are, they're there. I don't really plan on adding Grawp. (The image is already 1,252 by 1,402- and that's shrunken down about 90 percent!) I didn't 'forget' creatures like Fluffy, Norbert, and the centaurs- there just wasn't anywhere to put them!
Q: Is that Hinata Hyuuga? In Harry Potter fan art!?
A: Aha. That's a Ravenclaw student, "Su Li." With Hinata Hyuuga's distinctive 'do.
